Do I need massage therapy after inner and outer liposuction?

by Meri

Hi,
I had outer and inner lipo three weeks ago. My inner thighs are swollen and weavy, also the skin is kind of loose. Will the massage therapy help to reduce these defects? How many massage sessions do I need and how frequent??
Thanks,
Meri

Hi Marri

how are you. i did my inner thigh liposuction before and my swelling remains for 4 - 6 weeks after surgery. i talked with my doctor he said it is normal to have this type of swelling after surgery for 3 to 6 months.

and he suggested me to Wear my compression dressing and he also suggested me to have home massage and lymphatic massage to help "smooth" irregularities

he also told me If i have pain, redness in the area of the swelling, and if it feels hot to the touch, then i should contact him. as those are sign of infections.

i was pain free after 3 month after my liposuction anyway my suggestion for you you should contact your doctor for check up and then go for the massage therapy if he suggest so.

It`s been almost 2 months since I had inner and outer lipo. I fully recovered, have no bruises and pain. I exersise, massage my thighs and wearing garment 24/7. But the contour of my thighs is weavy and bumpy, the skin is loose. I regret I did this procedure. But thanks for your response!!!
